Designer Crafts is a voluntary run group working to raise the profile of the craft made by local designer makers. We also endeavour to support eachother in sustaining our local studios. We create locally and annually in the Market House in the run up to Christmas we present an enticing display of some of the finest craftwork to be found in Ireland. As artists and craftmakers we are dedicated, and each piece is made with detail and devotion.
There is something for every taste and budget, from contemporary ceramics to intricate glass and enamel jewellery. There are swathes of rich tactile handwoven and velvet scarves, colourful knitted hats and bags, richly coloured batik artworks and beautifully turned wooden pieces and more.
